The Z-95 Headhunter was developed before the Battle of Naboo. It was the predecessor of the ARC-170 and T-65 X-wing. It is inferior to the X-wing in every way, but it is cheap and reliable, making it a favorite of smugglers and pirates. Because of its age, many variants of the Z-95 are in existence, including a courier version with an expanded cockpit to allow for one passenger.
