Description - As the Allegiance-class saw success Imperial Engineers developed a variant that was built to work in concert with the Battlecruiser variant when assaulting planets. The Heavy Star Destroyer variant, unlike the Battlecruiser had a hanger on the ventral hull like most Star Destroyers. While this hanger was not as large as its Imperial sister it was used to launch the wing of Bombers and support fighters which aided the massive assault force carried on board in taking worlds and squelching uprisings.
