Description:

The ACCI is a new advanced model of infantry being developed by the Empire. Stemming from the success of the EMPIRE Project, a new class of ground infantry are being developed. This is the first product of the project. Basically it is an advanced combat droid model, with a brain encased nutrient tank, holding the cloned brains of infamous ground infantry and combat officers long since passed on. An extremeley complex system of wires and motivators are linked from every part of the metal body into the brain stem, essentially providing a fully compatibale and comparable metal body to that of a human body. In addition, sensors provide the brain with a warning when some enemy is acquring a target lock or firing on the armoured being. The infantry is equipped with a wide variety of sensors such as heat, cold, infrared and other imaging, and is equipped with such countermeasures as chaff and smoke. Finally, the suit is armed with a new prototype dual gun that fires standard blaster bolts as it's normal weapon, but a click of a button can link it to a mini-proton torpedo magazine, with six torpedoes being embarked. The infantry is designed for space combat, in which it would be colored black, or planetery assault, in which it is colored white.

Special deployment units then... that makes sense. I see it in a whole new light... and wonder, can I buy a few hundred units for the Guild?

The whole army won't be automated. We'll still have stormtroopers as frontline infantry. Just something more portable and advanced that can be used in the support role instead of the old AT-STs.

An automated army?

Wow. Why not just conduct your battles on a Mac Plus while yer at it.

I mean, really Kraken, a strategist like yourself proposing something like this...

Approve this sucka just so we can watch Kraken scrap the project three weeks down the road.
