Description:

The ACCI is a new advanced model of infantry being developed by the Empire. Stemming from the success of the EMPIRE Project, a new class of ground infantry are being developed. This is the first product of the project. Basically it is an advanced combat droid model, with a brain encased nutrient tank, holding the cloned brains of infamous ground infantry and combat officers long since passed on. An extremeley complex system of wires and motivators are linked from every part of the metal body into the brain stem, essentially providing a fully compatibale and comparable metal body to that of a human body. In addition, sensors provide the brain with a warning when some enemy is acquring a target lock or firing on the armoured being. The infantry is equipped with a wide variety of sensors such as heat, cold, infrared and other imaging, and is equipped with such countermeasures as chaff and smoke. Finally, the suit is armed with a new prototype dual gun that fires standard blaster bolts as it's normal weapon, but a click of a button can link it to a mini-proton torpedo magazine, with six torpedoes being embarked. The infantry is designed for space combat, in which it would be colored black, or planetery assault, in which it is colored white.

Damn right Zell.

And my bad, kraker was following protocol, only some arsewit decided to bump a very old and very inactive (read:unused) R&D.

This project is on hold until it is approved by our Supreme Commander. For the time being, this is an internal Imperial Matter.

Move along, these are not the supersoldiers you're looking for.

#16 6:23am 24/12/07

Wait... so you're saying all posts made by Kraker are... spam? NO WAI!!!

#15 6:21am 24/12/07

Please note as stated by IHC during the last series of fucking pointless R&Ds, NOONE OUTSIDE HIGH COMMAND HAS THE RIGHT TO MAKE R&Ds ON TNO'S BEHALF.

That means ignore all R&D posts made by anyone other than myself, Demos and Telan. And i suppose Daemon, but is he really likely to?

Feel free to consider any posts not made by the aforementioned people spam, and flame accordingly.

Max, please.

Shields: 10 SBD
Hull armor: 25 RU

E-11? Yeah right. About two or three E-webs may be able to take down a unit after a couple of minutes of sustained fire.

^ Ironic.

But less amusing.

#12 12:56am 24/12/07

And do you realize that this thread is over a year old? So in reality it took no shots whatsoever to take all of them down at once. But thanks for bringing it back, we really appreciate it, I'm sure the community wants to discuss Kraker's giant robots for another month.

Yikes. You realise that it would only take 2-3 E-11 shots or one well-placed DEMP shot to take this thing down? I would suggest either making this smaller so it can maneuver more easily to avoid such shots, or make it much larger so it can absorb the shots easier.

You could also change the weapons to CGL's that shoot C-22 grenades and since C-22s are in easy supply, it makes the units cheap and effective. Mini-PTLs would deal too much collateral damage to be valid weapons in atmospheric/ship-boarding situations, hence why they're mounted on Zero-G suits for anti-capital ship operations.

Just a few suggestions for a possible mk II >.>

See the Spartan II project. It's in the "Foundation" thread.

kthxbye

Well, I was including the length of the main gun barrel in that dimension. The body would be about 1 meter, and the gun at it's side would be like 2 meters long.

I'm definitly moving into ground operations now for my takeover threads. Space combat is starting to get really boring.

i'll take 100 for the Sith Order. Send the bill to the office Vance Jas.

#6 7:02pm 08/01/06

Combat testing has to be done in a seperate thread.

#5 6:40pm 08/01/06

Length:2m? Thats one fat ass combat infantry. I was sort of picturing just bigger stronger humans.

#4 4:09pm 08/01/06

Kraken, you think I could have 8 to 10 for my attack on Hyllard City and call it combat testing?
