Explanation: The Dauntless class Cruiser is an old ship that dates back to the early days of the Rebellion. The first Dauntless Cruisers were conversions from large Luxury Passenger Liners. As their engines were never upgraded, they retain a slow speed, and relativley slow hyperdrive rating. The ships however do have upgraded shield and hull strengths, along with a powerful armament added, making the Dauntless a formidable opponent.

No No now. There are no listed weapon stats for the ships, only what their broadsides are in numbers of barrels, and the weight of the weaponry based on range. I used those two factors to calculate the most likely number of weapons. But yeah, everything else is basically hard stats.

The General R&D section was designed for ships without definite stats... most of the ships the Rebellion has been submitting, though, have definite stats...

Yeah basically. I know the CC-7700 Frigate is also mentioned in the Essiental Guide to Chronology as a ship Bel Iblis used against Daala in her final battle. I think the Bulwark and Dauntless Cruisers are also mentioned sometime or another in the books as well.

No... the Bulwark was the Rebel version of the SSD. I thouhgt the Dauntless was supposed to be just a little better than the ISD, and the Liberator just a little worse...
But maybe I'm wrong. I'm just going by their organization in the game.
