Explanations: Appearing on the scene somewhere around the time of the Battle of Hoth, the Liberator class cruiser is a very advanced warship, carrying a heavy amount of weaponry, and a large capacity of starfighters. None the less the Liberator cruiser does have it drawbacks, for although it has a strong hull typrical of warships this period, it again lacks the shield strength of contemporary Imperial warships, and as well as a very slow speed, and hyperdrive rating.
