[font=Times New Roman][size=3]The CD-01a uses an advanced droid brain, similar to those in the SD-10 battle droids. The Z-600 Droid Brain was invented by ComTech, and is essentially a modified droid brain from the SD-10. The Z-600 has all the tactics programmed into the SD-9, SD-10 and perfect ways to beat those tactics. While a single SD-9 was equivalent to one hundred fully outfitted troops, and the SD-10 was even better, thanks to the Z-600 the CD-01a is even better, and is the most advanced combat droid of its day.[/size][/font]

[font=Times New Roman][size=3]As well, the CD-01a can be controlled by a person from a far away, although you need a special computer to do it. All New Galactic Coalition garrisons will be outfitted with the special computers.[/size][/font]

[font=Times New Roman][size=3]The body of the CD-01a is very similar to that of an SD-10, with a few minor exceptions. The entire body is taller, and wider. The space between the legs was filled in, to provide more room for generators on the top half, and room for the grenade compartement on the body half. The feet are also connected together and contain the repulsor bank. The head contains the targeting computer, combat sensor package, sensor array and communications. The chest has a sliding panel, that a extended-fire repeating blaster comes out of. The right arm has a blaster rifle built into it, and a vibro-sword attached to the forearm. The left arm has a harpoon gun at the end, and numerous cables in the arm. The majority of the generators are in a backpack type bump on the back of the droid.[/size][/font]
