Mystery
Mystery refers to our most recent addition to the Dameun condition of immortality. What we have accomplished with our massive planetary information network has been the storage of and continuation therin of Dameun consciousness. Involving the disassembler deconstruction of each neron, each pathway and uploading all descernable data from each. A special series of blood born assemblers also records all conscious thought and the brains reactions from and updates the current records about the specific person. With this data we can reconstruct a persons Mystery, their very being into a non-physical reality. In such storage ones Mystery would be able to interact with real time systems, other Mysteries or even physical beings. With given resources a new body of any specification could be created to house a mystery at any point, thus extending the granted immortality from previous projects.Added benifits of these new systems are the partials. Partials are copies made of the Mystery by the original to preform specific tasks (IE: data gathering, manual labor, ect) and can come in any number of forms from physical to holographic. Partials will always merge with their original in the end to report their data directly or to save energy for their original.

Raktus has already capable of reproducing people, and their memories, as well as other things.
As I'm understanding it, this is an attempt to clone/copy/re-produce what makes a person, a person. What makes them sentient.
He could reconstruct someone from the molecular level, but if he cannot give them their ... humanity ... it's all for moot.

I don't really have a place here (...YET, mhuha!), but you asked for other input...
If its feasable to have the assemblers (basically nano-bots if I understand tehm correctly, but anyways), then wouldn't it be feasable for a machine to read the impulses in the brain just after the death of a person?
And the memories would be in a set part of the brain right? So if they went right there they could get all the persons personality, memories, past actions, etc etc. Basically that is all they need to record, since instincts would be close to the same in like people (like mothers try to protect their children, people try to not die and things like that).
It'd take some experiementation to learn what the different impulses from/to different area's of the brain meant,b ut it'd be possible... Theoretically.
(The above text was the guesswork of one "Labes". This being most likely does not know what he was talking about, and therefore should have minimal influence on the choice to approve or not approve this R&D.)
Edit: Spelling...

One problem.
I don't think you're actually able to do it...
The human brain and its 'Mystery' are not so easily read by machines, IMO. Does any non staff member have a comment on it? SOmething perhaps we have missed?
Or perhaps insight to prove me wrong?

this isnt based off the other

lol, ok, we're here!
And assuming project immortality hasn't been approved (i figure i'm the only one other than Kas in this forum), i don't think you should be moving to new R&Ds before the old one is done. Especially if this is based off it.
If i get the chance, i'll look at the other BDE R&Ds relevant R&Ds (Immortality etc) so i can actually know what i'm talking abuot before i make another random rambling post...

Ok. I'll let Lup and the others look at it first, before I say yay or nay.
(eg: now you get to hunt up another mod. :p )

No no no, you went off on a tangent on me. This doesnt duplicate, it extracts and places. When the body dies there will be a constantly updated version of that persons mystery left behind. That Mystery inhabits the Dameun version of the holonet until placed in a new body or whatever they wish.
And they take the full being, not selective parts, if Kains mystery wanted to, it could make a partial with those qualifications, but thats not something we would do.

Selective brainwashing, surly your duplicators could do that. Remove his history with the Empire, but keep the 'experience'.
So, this is for duplicating people to 'sub people' to do common chores, and stuff...
That's the reason for this R&D?

1. Its not exactly the soul, you can call it that, but its more the esscence of being
2. Thats my fualt for not explaining it better, there could only be an upwards of Three physical partials due to the strain on the original mystery to divide itself. Partails normally wouldnt be given physical form but rather be used as information gathering in their own system.
3. Sure, we could kidnap Simon, and given his permission we could take his Mystery, but we could 'brainwash' him. If I kidnaped you and stuck you in a weird room that doesnt mean youd automatically listen to what I told you. A persons mystery is just as same as the person, if Kain wouldnt listen to me, his mystery wouldnt either becuase Kain and Kains mystery are one in the same.
4. No, no I couldnt, for one thing its Illegal at TRF to go making clones supped up with Midichlorons. Secondly, as I said before, Blood Assemblers negate midicholorns, so there is not one enhanced Dameun that has force abaility.
List all your issuies and I will clarify them...

Hmm.
This, I have a problem with. I just don't think this would be possible. A person's 'soul' (for lack of a better in context word) is something I believe un-duplicatable.
What is to stop you from getting an uber soldier, and duplicating him, along with his memories? You'll have a bajillion uber soldiers. Or duplicating your best admiral? Heck, kidnap Simon and you'd have a hundred Kain's working for you...
You say this cannot duplicate the force, however, there are alternate methods out there to forcibly turn someone force-sensitive. All you have to do is duplicate a man, and his memories, and then forcibly 'charge him up'.
I just see problems by the gajillion with something like this.

not just that, but what also makes that person them. That and its not really a xerox, its more the original and it can make partials (IE: the xerox's) that can do things...
