Let me explain in detail, to save time.

The generators produce small spheres of hyperenergy that are shot into an area of space. When ships traveling through hyperspace cross the same area of realspace, they come in contact with the hyperenergy spheres. These spheres overwhelm the blocking capacity of the ship's shields and destroy the craft.

The send out pulsing rings of energy which destroy ships traveling through hyperspace. Do I have to go get and post a technical definition?

The Pulsemass generator is a turret bassed weapon with a gunner. It is not a mine with a one time charge. Exactly the same as on an Abolisher cruiser.

Maim, you realize that Abolisher mines only last a few moments once released? Meaning that the only way this could be effective would be if they were placed in the path of oncoming ships, and released at just the right moment.

I was under the impression that, though not a rule per say, R&D's needed a large-ish amount of words explaining their background, and reason for development.

All the R&D's I have seen here have had a lot of text describing them.

Maim, I'll approve it, however I fail to see how this is going to be an effective weapon unless you're planning to move asteroids out into the middle of "nowhere" to use them.
