Conquerer Class Battleship Resubmission (THC R&D)

Kanbal, i personally think i got shafted on these stats, its massively underpowered as it was Drakiss who forced me to rip its stats down. Can you suggest weapon increases please?

Speeds: Due to its Size it is assumed it would move slowly, but the sleek design of the ship equivicates it to roughly the level of the Executer-Class Super Star Destroyer, although slightly higher due to the relatively smaller mass it is required to propel.

240 Hapes VVX-99 Heavy Turbolasers (computer assisted targeting)
80 Democles Inc. NK-7 Ion Cannons (computer assisted targeting)

Ship Background:

When Centrepoint destroyed the Hapan Fleet and the New Republic shared information regarding Heavier models of lasers, the glaring weaknesses inherent in the Hapan Navy were exposed. Lacking a top end ship to 'hold the line' against Imperial Class Star Destroyers and MonCal 90a Heavy Cruisers, the Darkstar was commissioned. Now with the standard fleet ship design completed, Hapes set about to design a higher model of ship that would compete with Heavier ships, such as Super Star Destroyers. Although heavier ships, such as the Executor would defeat the Conquerer easily, the ship itself was not designed to withstand single combat, but to act as a command and control craft from which Hapes could stage assaults, and Fleets could rally around, something Hapes had always lacked. The Conquerer is a powerful ship needless to say, but 'even a lone lion can be killed by a pack of Hyenas'. Lacking any starfighter defences of its own, it relies on support ships and its own vast fighter complement (4 times that of an Imperial Star Destroyer) to defend from starfighter attack.

Obviously the Conquerer is based on the Super Star destroyer the Executor, and so naturally most of its major deficiencies have been accounted for. One bonus is an unconventional shield technique in which if a large object (Fighter sized, although it can detect and react to much smaller) is 'sensed' and the shield retracts momentarily, drawing further in onto itself and suddenly expanding, destroying the incoming target. The crashing of a single snub fighter caused the destruction of the Executor, and this new shield system, although heavily damaging to that particular level of sheilds, could be used in defence of the ship in the off chance of the same incident.

Also, due to the modular design used in its construction, it can be constructed in 3 seperate parts, only being worked together before the vital systems such as electronics and life support are linked.

Ok, i quartered the troop and vehicles, cut most of the support craft, and entirely removed gunboats to maintain Fighter Compliment. Is that a satisfactory compromise?

- reduce shields to 60,800 SBD

- reduce total number of weapon encampments to 670

Remove this provision, it violates Rule 13 of the Shipyard Rules
<blockquote style="padding-left:0.5em; margin-left:0; margin-right:0; margin-top:0; margin-bottom:0; border-left:solid 2">No merging shipyards.</blockquote>
As I see it, that's what the provision allows.

You do have some room to increase the weapon encampments if you like. This needs shield (SBD), hull (RU), sublight speed (MGLT), and hyperdrive ratings.
