TDY R&D 7
Designer: Kamon VondiranachManufacturer: TDY Industrial
Name: Bugroth Land Assault Vehicle (BLAV)
Type: Infantry Combat
Length: 7 meters
Height: 5 meters
Weight: 90 Metric Tons
Personnel: 1 Pilot, 1 Gunner
Consumables: 1 day
Speed: 95 KPH
Drive System:
Advanced Model Gyro Circuits for stability. Legs approximately four meters in length. System holds a highly advanced model of drive systems. Drive system allows more rpm’s than in a normal land assault vehicle such as an AT-ST. Legs also house four small repulsorlifts each.
Body:
Designed for speed and maneuverability, the Bugroth has a long aerodynamic main body. Body houses the pilot, gunner, weapons systems, drive systems, small luggage department, control systems, scanners, and comm. systems.
Weapons:
The Bugroth holds one MM-s4 style grenade launcher. The main difference between the s3 and the s4 is that the s4 is modified to be hooked up to the Bugroth. The s4 also holds 15 instead of the standard 12 fragmentation grenades. The Bugroth also holds two repeating blaster cannons that are a modified E-web design. The only difference is that it is not hand controlled. The gunner controls it.
Description:
The Bugroth Land Assault Vehicle offers a sleek design that is able to move quickly and effectively in battle. One pilot pilots it and he also controls the MM-s4 grenade launcher. The gunner controls the modified E-web blasters. This allows the pilot to worry about keeping the vehicle from being shot while also being able to take out large pockets of enemy troops.
The Advance Model Gyro System on the Bugroth enables the vehicle to move quickly while maintaining balance. This gets rid of the old problem with the AT-ST. If it does fall, the repulsorlifts will catch it before it hits the ground. This keeps the pilot and gunner alive allowing them to stand the vehicle upright again. When a Bugroth loses the lower half of its leg, the repulsorlifts allow the ship to continue to battle, but on a limited basis. At this point, the vehicle is almost a sitting target as its forward motion is almost zero.
The weapons system allows for the ability to eliminate ground troops while the personnel doing it are safely inside an armored vehicle. While it cannot engage in battle with other land assault vehicles, it is fast enough to outrun most of them. The only true way to kill a BLAV is to hit the cockpit or the drive system on the main body.
