Assign a value to the Flechette Anti-Missile encampments or forfeit approval. Simply because they cannot, in your opinion, be used as weapons does not give you any grounds to ignore my request.

Isstal, as you said, the liberty although heavily shorter, would dominate the Matriarch at those last values posted. Methinks either that should be checked again, or those values allowed. Anyway...

Also, as stated, the flechettes are a combat equivilent of ECMs. They do not count as weapons purely for the reasons they cannot be used [i]as[/i] weapons.

There's a difference between what is allowed and how you design it. There is a maximum I allow, and if you exceed that maximum, I ask you set it to the maximum. If you design it lower than the maximum, I leave it at that because I don't need you to change it.

And, if anyone gets ridiculous in future R&Ds with sheild and hull ratings just so that they do get the maximum, I'll stop telling the number that it needs to be changed to and let the designer play the guessing game.

- reduce hull to 12,000 RU

- increase hyperdrive to Class 1

- reduce shields to 24,000 SBD

- reduce sublight speed to 6 MGLT

- a number of Flechette Anti-Missile encampment is required before total number of encampments can be evaluated

I object to the hull stregnth. The Libery Frontline Destroyer, 600 meters shorter, was only allowed 8500 RU in hull strength, and it moved at the same speed.

Also, .8 past lightspeed seems excessive to me.

The X-wing video games do have an anti-missile missile, a flare, which is pretty tight.
