Vehicles:none
Troops: 50 Cren Troopers
Shields: 850 SBD
Backup Shields: 400 SBD
Hull: 100 RU
Speed: 70 MGLT
Hyperdrive: x1
Hull:
The Desception Cruiser uses the same hull and shape as the W-wing, though at a much larger scale. They use the Mon Calamari emissionless engines, though they also are much larger, and make the cruiser slower then originally hoped for. If its weapons were fired, they would easily be detected. The Desception Cruiser is virtually invisible to any sensors, or the human eye, thanks to the Holographic Image Desceptor, which concludes the rest of the craft.
Quote off of hangarbay.tripod.com/td-wwing.html
Instead of generating a field of energy around the ship the new cloaking technology is built directly into the outer layers of the ship's skin. The outer skin is coated with a fine layer of synthetic material which works to simulate the ship's surroundings. The material is so sensitive that it can change appearances quickly enough to fool any tracking sensors. The rounded curves of the fighter further augment this ability as sharp edges would be much more difficult to conceal. The outer skin also completely absorbs any form of active sensing radiation such that no data returns to an enemy vessel to pinpoint the fighter's location.
End quote.
Holographic Image Desceptor
The Holographic Image Desceptor (HID), is a huge relay of holographic projecters and recorders. When the HID is activated, a projector on one side of the ship instantly project that the recorder directly opposite it is seeing. If ever the Desception Cruiser is found, and it's shields aren't active, the HID usually is deactivated, due to the fact that any hit agaisnt the hull will destroy many projectors and recorders, making the ship visible again. The HID can only be used for one hour, and can't be fired after that for ten hours. Therefor the Desception Cruisers are always kept hidden at the back of the formation, and once the fleet is 30 kilometers away, still to far for any weapons, it activates, speeds forward, gets in position, and broadcasts back the telementary needed for the missiles. Their for they can actually be used to their full distance, and a fleet has to try and advance much closer to the Cren fleet.
History:
The Desception Cruiser is excellent for diplomatic envoys, they are not large threats, as they only have one turbolaser and one laser cannon. Their main tactics if found are to run away as fast as possible, which is quite fast. They are terrible in battle alone, but combined with other elements of the Cren Armed Forces, they can be used with dealy results. They can be used as scout ships, coming into a system and immediatly activating the Holographic Image Desceptor. They will be sent out in numbers to case the defenses on a planet before the Cren actually commit a taskforce to any mission.
Downsides: Well you can probably figure out that there is broadcasting going on right near you, aimed at an incoming enemy fleet. Therefor you could blind fire all the weapons on that side, and probably hit it a few times. Once you actually hit it, you will see the glimmer of where the shields are, since they would glow from the impact of the hits. If you have lots of fighters flying around you would probably get at least one hitting my shields.

-355 SBD Max
-It doesn't absorb all sensors as there are many passive sensor units and sensors that aren't looking for ships.

Ahh... I seeeeeee
... I did think the shields were very high... I personally would have halved its rating...
*wanted to know what you and Lei thought*

I thought it might be, but its not. I reread it to make sure. His theory is that by recording stuff on every side, and projecting it off the hull of the craft, it would appear that things on the other side are visable through the craft, hence making it invisiable.
Nothing to do with any projection of ships etc.
850SBD is frucking heaps. Look at one of the newer TDY R&Ds for a sheild guide.
I've got a few more problems, including the canon-ness of your planets materials being used so, if its not a canon planet. Still, i get back onto that in a bit.

Sounds like something stolen from my Orion Space Station Design.

*has a headache*
a lot to think about here...
In principle there isn't anything that stands out to me as OTT, but I am just a little unsure about the Holographic display system, (the 'Holographic Image Desceptor'), as its use is a little vague.
Is this used to just create 'illusions'? so to speak .
If so I can see why you think it might be useful, but in a combat situation I don't know exactly how useful it would be , since the enemy could just scan and see through your illusionary 'Visions' (?).
As for the telemetric data relaying, you do realise that this could give away your ship if you use it, yes? Since any Broadcast transmission would be normally detected , (as long as ships were scanning of course).
I will go away and double check the shield ratings , since I am not sure about 850, though I am sure Lei and Dakkon will have a better idea where this is concerned.
Note: This is not meant to be some personal criticism singled against you or your design , just some points I feel you need to consider.
