Based off of the Imperial Landing Shuttle, the Mon Calamari Liberty-Class Transport Shuttle was designed by a team of Calamarian Technicians in a secret facility on Calamari's unnamed moon. The Mon Calamari Liberty-Class Transport Shuttle is expected to be the standard carried on all Calamari cruisers, and is designed to be powerful and versatile.

It can carry up to 40 troops, as well as sporting 4 Dual Laser Cannons, 4 Ion Cannons and 2 Proton Torpedo Launchers. It also carries two powerful shield generators, so that it can take a heavy beating, as well as dish one out.

The Mon Calamari Liberty-Class Transport Shuttle shares the same organic-looking hull as other Mon Calamari vessels, and has a sleek, layed back design. The Transport possesses four wing, each tipped with a Dual Laser and an Ion Cannon. The Torpedo Launchers are located near the nose.

It is propelled by two efficient Calamari Engines, although they are not very powerful, as the Shuttle is not designed for speed. Even with this weakness, it is expected to perform extremely well.
