AGM R&D, Titans (Organism)
TITAN ORGANISMHeight: 30-45 feet tall.
The titans are giant beings, created at the very begining of time, along with the big bang. Being the very first life forms, they existed in a world without air, or earth. For years they floated, and would have died, but one thing saved them.
The force.
Being the only life, Midi-cloriens (sp?) filled their boddy to such an extent they fed the cells of the titans for centuries.
Finally they came across the first piece of land, a molten ball of flames, one day to be known as Azguard. They lived on Azguards' moon for aeons, quiet and meditativ, until one day they saw Azguard as solid, and decided it was time to do something interesting.
The two dozen Titans, drifting through space, landed on Azguard. There they found a highly primitive species, The Azguardians. Each Titan pitied these poor, warsome, starved creatures, and taught them how to survive. Every tribe followed a titan who taught them, and in turn the Titan learnt also.
The titans changed on Azguard. Their cell structure was designed to adapt to whatever ecology they found themselves in. The Titans, worried about these changes, met at a grand meeting, and decided each would be responsible for one element. Their bodies changed over millenia to be more usefull in its' chosen element, even gaining control over some bits.
But one Titan, Graksnik, would not adapt, and grew Jealous of his brothers' powers. He lead his tribe on a terrible war, which lasted for eight-hundred years. By the end of it, twelve Titans were dead, Six were banished, and Six remained:
Yunos, God of the Sun. (Humanoid)
Relokan, God of Fire (Large, flaming Tigre)
Herluy, God of Winds and Lightning (Huge Eagle)
Jarvis, God of Water (Octopus)
Argrak, God of Earth (Construct of earth and stone (Think Lotr ents made of rocks))
Ishon, God of Darkness and the night (Great bat)
These six beings, the mightiest creatures on all of Azguard, decided to retreat deep into their homes in their element so as to make sure the great war never reoccurs. But they left instructions, so that if anyone needed to bring them back they could be r-awakened. The Azguardians, in this time of strife and war, have decided to reawaken their ancient gods.
(OOC: they arn't actually gods but their size, combined with their immortality and their ability to adapt makes them seem like gods. The "Research time" (time it takes to awaken them) would have to be ad hoc, so This may take time. Only the six which exist now could ever exist: if one dies no new one come to take its' place.)

O.K. Here is all the (Revised) Titan Info:

O.K, Here's some more details.:
They are not Invincible, but the midi-cloriens regenerate wounds quickly, so they're pretty tough. They won't stand up to a super laser, but they could withstand a turbo laser barrage for some time, but they're less for fighting then symbolic anyways.
Also, they arn't gods in the "Look at me, I created the universe!" sense, but they lead the Azguards out of the dark ages and are thus worshipped as gods.
Here is a slightly more descriptive version of each. Each creature was designed to have some way to defend itself, because they are incapable of using the force for conventional powers, and instead used it to slowly lead their evoloution to give them power over their chosen element, for symbolic and religious reasons
THE TITANS
Yunos: A golden humanoid-shaped figure, radiating light. He is noble, and like all Titans very tough indeed. He is capable of creating a natural light, such as the light made by that fish (can't remember name, has light over head). Can increase intensity to blinding after awhile. Also, can store heat in the day-time in small, highly insulated pouches under his skin. Whne nessacary he may release the light-energy, that can burn life forms within the vicinity.
Relokan: Highly unstable creature, which looks slightly like the tigre creature from episode Two except more believable and a smaller mouth who lives in volcanoes. Holds magma in a Fire-bladder, similar to the bladder over a fish's stomach that holds water to make it sink. Vomits the magma at those he doesn't like. Also, a mix of natural napalm is mixed in two sacks in his jaw, so he can spew fire. Slightly physically weaker then the others but much faster.
Herluy: He is a giant Bird, white feathers and yellow eyes. Capable of flying. As human nerv tissues use small electric charges to transport messages through the body, so does Herluy use groups of a varient cell on his claws to release electric charges.
Jarvis: A huge octopus, except unlike the conventional Octopus he spits not ink but water which he stores in many sections around his body. Millenia of physical training have allowed him to leave the water for days on end as he uses his tentacles to crawl.
Argrak: A large rocky construct-like being, He is the toughest of all Titans, and can smite many with huge boulders, which stick to him in crags, or are held together with a special adhesive liquid formed in the body. He uses it to hold together stones, and to move around nearby earth by pouring it into the ground so that it holds it together, then moving his limbs, moving the adhesive, moving nearby land.
Ishon: a huge bat, which can change colour at will, like a chameleon. As light is a substance, he is capable of holding light in his body, similar to Yunos, except he does it to create darkness. if given advance time, he may change his appearance to match the nearby area exacly, so that only scanners or force-sensitive people could find him, but they would probably regret finding a forty-foot tall giant bat standing nearby.
There you go. They are powerful, but spaceships could kill them easily and there is only so much damage they could do to foot troops till they died. So please consider this thoughtfully.
*P.S. this is just combining the two posts of before. Baiscly this is all I could think to say about them. They'd just be cool for role playing.

This R&D very much scares me...
#20 10:37pm 30/01/03
Um, no problem. If you have an R&D that isn't done, you will need to bump them up. IMO, these would fall under the catagory of planetary defense. Be sure to update your first post to contain all the information about them.

Erm... not to cause a problem, but I've been waiting for nearly a month. I know others have been waiting longer, but just so's you know.

"
they actually exist in the EU SW.
Really? "
Well yes. In-so-far as they are mentioned a number of times, spoken of (by the Vong) as if they are tangible beings. They account for a number of mysterious happenings (in Vong) and, even Jacen comes to respect their heritage... in "Traitor".
They do not exist in tangible form for the reader, true. Then again, gods to not usually tend to be speaking and acting character in most novels, save for the realm of Fantasy. (As compared to Sci-Fi)... Well, except for a few Asmov and Niven novels.
I am also talking out of my ass right now...
By the way, I deeply enjoyed reading ...well, all of Gashs' return. Good work. In the first person too.

A Loki among gods I guess
#16 7:07am 11/01/03
Itala a god?
I think not...
#15 7:04am 11/01/03
Does that mean I can R&D gods of RPing too? I could have Thrawn, Viscera, Gash, Scorpion, Prent, and Itala!
they actually exist in the EU SW.
Really?
#13 8:33pm 10/01/03
what if they were almost indestructable on the homeworld and can never leave?
#12 7:27pm 10/01/03
Bump
#11 11:45pm 03/01/03
Sweet. Does this mean I can R&D the good old gods of the Vong?
I'd love to have Yun-Yuuzhan or Yun-Yammka on my side, and hell... they actually exist in the EU SW.
I want to be able to R&D Myth and new species too...
Sith Alchemy anyone?

In my mind, this is pushing the bill on the core of what is expected to been or happen in the Star Wars universe. If they remained myth, okay, fine; I have nothing against creating a religion based around those gods, but their reappearance is a little sketchy and the fact that they have Force powers, with no possible means of training, makes more reluctant to give approval.
I'll get other staff opinions before a final decision is made.
