The Biological Brain Network: The Capital Brain Network: The Ancestral's systems are governed by a network of twelve Bio-brains, very similar to the brain controlling the Retak fighter. These brains, somewhat larger than they're fighter counterpart, have control over every function on the ship and take orders from a captain.
Bio-brain advantages:
-The brain network are able to process data up to five times faster than the top brand of core computer.
-The twelve brains can store up to four hundred thousand nav coordinates in thier memory, a capacity far beyond any capital vessel of comparable size.
-If one brain is damaged or destroyed it can be repaired or even "regrown" while still in flight, whilst the other eleven brains remain unnaffected. They will simply close off the damaged brain from the network unitl it repairs itself or is replaced and would continue work with little drop in efficiency.
However it should be noted that the growth of an entire droid brain would take over one hour.
-The brains are directly linked to the an individual power generator, and not to the main power core, so in case of a power surge or some form of loss or interruption, the brains can remain unaffected and continue to work.
-The twelve brains account for so many of the ships systems that a substantial crew are not needed. Much of the ship's interior is instead converted to harvesting stations and extra fighter and craft compartments.

Well you [i]can[/i] make it specialised. Take off the heavier weapons and more fighters, shes a carrier. Dedicated roll craft are accepted as having advantages in matters of their specialty. The Tie Interceptor as an interceptor, so its faster.

Please note that there is zero cargo space, and little space taken up by crew for a vessel of its size, thus allowing more space for weapons and fighters.
However I'd probably have to have large numbers of either fighters or weapons, probably not both.
