fighter Modulization enhancement
Process in witch a common fighter can be fitted with an additonal module for another capability.
Moduals modify different speed, weapons, stealth capabilities, and others depending on the module. Some module provide some advantages but also add some disadvantages depending upon the nature of the module in question.
Even with the draw backs the advantage of having one fighter with the ability to 'change it's stripes', as it were, to a given situation is a great tactical advantage in many situations.
Additions to fighter:
Weapons computer- New software computer and hardware in the fighter to handle the addition of new systems as they come online. Each module has it's own computer systems that uplink to the craft's computer.
Moduler external connection clips- Standerd clips that are utilized in the same manner as those of the Hyper ring external connection clips. They feed new information from the module to the ship and integrate the two systems into a single system. The modular fighter just has more of the clips. The clips themselves are better built to allow them to opperate in combat situations.

Bump it up.

You have yet to answer the question of if it would be better to simply creat a modular fighter rather then R&D the process to use on fighters.

Well, I could of course limit it to the mainely the aethersprite seven for universal use.
But the process could be states to have limited use on the type of craft that could use the modules. Like, for example the bomber unit is only concievable for use on the Aethersprite and perhaps a ship of simulare shape. The only on that I can think of that fits the description is the A-wing and perhaps the Y-wing. The wings of the other fighters like X-wings, tie-fighters (all classes), B-wings, E-wings and most others make such use impposible.
The use of the fighter is not complicated at all. this just makes the need for more then one kind of ship obsolete. Or it gives more leway on ships for the kinds of missions that it's fighters can undertake.
That and I wanted to make the process R&Ded before I started to make the modules.
Would it be perhaps more favorable to make an Aetherprite varient that integrated the modularization ability.
If so. Then I well chuck this process R&D in favor of the fighter.

YOu'll need to incorporate and standardise some limits if its going to be used on fighters above and beyond your own.
I'm not going to let something overcomplicate fighter combat any more than it has to, so set some limits to the style of additions, and the number of additions per craft.

Damn... stole my R&D idea, you did...

The process is in the capacity of turning a fighter craft and giving it an alternative capability. The Athersprite already uses a canon form of modulization. It is modified so that it can use the Hyperspace-ring. This process just takes the process a step further. Using a process that allows the use of several different moduals on one modified fighter.
The capacity is mainely for the Aethersprite-7. With the Process R&Ded then I can R&D the modules and then the carrier craft specially for the modular fighters and their modules.

What capacity are you expecting to use this in?

Better re-do the spelling on that Vonta.
