As long as were willing to admit that all the gunracks improve is firing arc and do not actually increase any rate of fire Id be willing to approve....
We are currently reviewing new Weapons technologies, among other new systems technologies. This means that your swivling gun racks may have to be replaced or given their own R&D. Again, this is not yet certian but, be prepared if it is moved ahead. Thank you.
Otherwise this R&D is ready for Approval, as soon as the issue of those gunracks (mostly) is settled.
Um...if it's 2.9km then it's gonna be pretty easy to target without sensors anyway...I know it can move but not very fast...so jus aim the missiles right (or Turbolasers, or wotever else u wanna use) and they're pretty much gonna hit with the occasional miss due to either rubbish gunnery or the ship moving slightly.
And not to bring up the point of Darktroopers again (so please nobody reply to what I'm saying about them), the MkII's couldn't have people in them (at least I can't remember them being able to in the game) and the Rebel Alliance actually had the plans to them when Kyle Katarn stole them, so the technology wasn't so much lost as either forgotten about or hidden away...
The thing isn't as powerful as it would leave you to believe :P It uses the same technology you see in EP II, adapted on a more powerful beam.
They're decoy beams as is seen in X-Wing Vs. TIE Fighter and a few other sources (do not know them off the top of my head). Basically from distances of up to 6 klicks it scrambles the enemy's sensors and makes it look as though there are two or three.
However this doesn't work any closer than 6 klicks, mainly because you can actually see the thing.
Do an RP all you like, it's not going to change anything.
Because you don't like it doesn't mean anything. The fact of the matter is Darktroopers have been in use at TRF since it first came about. No one's is going to be "worse" than yours just because you want them to be.
Dark Troopers always have and always will be here, regardless of your hatred of the fact that you are doing an RP and I'm not.
Besides we're not here to discuss the validity of darktroopers. We're here to discuss the R&D.
The Dark trooper had no force powers, nor were they elite troopers. Phase II and III could be used as suits for troopers, but were otherwise very effective droids. The Phase II reportadly could take on a jedi Knight with some difficulty. One could only imagine what Phase III could do.

Lower sheilds ratings by 1k at least, hull by at least 2k
Just a few questions past that..
Decoy whats? Decoy shuttles? Certainly not Wild Weasels...
I also do not like this 'Focused Laser Beam Cannon' to the point of disallowing it completely. I want other mods input first of course.
