In this day and age of massive fleets and powerful ships, a new method had to be designed to remain a galactic power. With the design of the Devestator Mark III it creates a versatillity in placement of power. It allows governments to not have to commit to much power for an offensive move. While at the same time, it adds a new level of play to the game as if several of these missiles are used at once, they power exerted will be extriodanary.


Notes:

Range: Approx. 10,000 Lightyears (A Sector at most)

Damage Ability: 15,000* BLS**

Launched from Silos based on surface or silo based off a carrier ship.

Can be reprogrammed in midflight if you have the secondary codes, which are also used for abortion.

Safety Features: Requires two eight character launch codes. Will not detonate if destroyed in space or atmosphere.


OOC Notes:

Build time: 7 Days

R&D time: 35 days.

*- If you can't shoot down a ten meter missile in flight, you deserve to die.

**- Equivilant to RU/SBD as seen in the games.

Firing Rules: Must be armed in one post. Launched in a second. Can be detonated in third OR enters hyperspace in third. Fourth is exiting hyperspace. Fifth is flight time. Sixth is detonation.


Only eight may exist at one time.

I'd like to see explination about how much damage it dishes out, but as Beff said, this is pretty basic.

I would like a bit more of an explanation of this R&D. On principal though, I have no problems with this submission.
