[Edit]
Combined Clans of Bothawui R&D2.
Name: Azazel-Class Superiority Starfighter
Designation: Superiority Starfighter
Length: 14 meters
Designer: Askar Vri'kre, Bothan Research and Development Division.
Shields: 60 SBD
Hull: 80 RU
Speed: 105 MGLT
Hyperdrive: x1,
Consumables: 2 days (K-18 Rations)
Weapons: 3 Laser Cannons (one on each wingtip, one under the nosecone), 2 Ion Cannons (one on each wingtip), 2 Missile Launchers (one under each wing. 6 missiles for each)
Special Equipment: 4x-Phantom Short-Range Sensor Jammer
Notes: The 4x-Phantom Short-Range Sensor Jammer is designed to jam starfighter sensors with a high success rating. However, the power readings from this system make it easier for gunners aboard capital ships (who have access to more powerful sensors) to target the starfighter. Originally used on the A-Wing.

I'll get Askar to reduce speed by 5.

Well, reports have the TIE Defenders speed peaking at 200 MGLT, although i'm assuming that is with all power to thrusters.
And yup, its 144 for the defender typically.
I would like to see this craft, IMO, reduced to a point of specialisation.
I always prefer fighters to be role specific, which this is, although this craft maintains the speed, payload and power to be used as the perfect strike fighter. It activates its jammers as it runs through the enemies fighter skirmish screen, dashing for the cappys and, as soon as its past the fighters, deactivates its jammer to prevent being easily tracked by the now exposed cappies.
Then again, i'm not officially an R&D mod anymore, so perhaps my opinion is moot.

You're craft does, however, have more weapons than a lot of those ships you listed. TIE Interceptors are fast because that's how they were designed; they have no shields, very little armour, and no missiles.
And 144 MGLT for the TIE Defender is absurb, IMO. They shouldn't be much faster than the Interceptor. But, if that is what the stats sites say... I'm just to lazy to check, is all.

yeah, your right, but its still a bit fast for my tastes for being so close to the speed of an a-wing but bigger than. 5 mglt reduction would sate me

The Azazel's speed is not even that fast by Cannon standards:
TIE Fighter- 100 MGLT
X-Wing- 100 MGLT
TIE Interceptor- 111 MGLT
T-Wing- 111 MGLT
A-Wing- 120 MGLT
HLAF- 133 MGLT
XJ-X-Wing- 140 MGLT
TIE Defender- 144 MGLT
XG-1 Missle Boat- 165 MGLT
So as you can see the Azazel is comprable or a bit better than the first generation snubfighters. (Early TIEs, X-Wings, etc) but are outpaced by newer clases of space superority fighters. (TIE Defenders, HLAFs, XJ-X-Wings) So i don't think we should have to lower the speed.

lower speed by 15-20 mglt

one more..... ;)

Looks good, hyperdrive may be a little high, but being as we don't measure hyperspace speed here there's no problem. Here's one approval.
