*- The Devastator bay is a hatch that holds the missile. The crew to arm the missile can access the missile from the ship, then the hatch doors open and the missile is dropped into a free float until its engines activate.

Fine. I'll make a post for all my 'new' techs.
#28 4:05am 11/08/03
Would you rather we pull all your ships out of service until you R&D all your ship system techs over again?
All were asking is that you follow the rules as they were written, not an iota more...
#27 3:28am 11/08/03
Its still bullshit. Its an existing technology.
#26 2:05am 11/08/03
I can verify this for Gue, Lei.
Its been this way for about a month or two now.

Beff was going to do it to your last R&D involving the not cannon techs, but you had posted it before the change in the rules, so he couldn't. Now he can, once he comes back.
#24 7:24am 10/08/03
When Beff shows up he will tell you the same exact thing
#23 7:09am 10/08/03
Thats @#%$ bullshit and you @#%$ know it.
#22 7:07am 10/08/03
you have not made any new R&Ds with these techs until recently, now its not my fualt that these techs are new. They are new, as they are not cannon, and they have not yet been R&D'd alone. So as stated before, they require their own R&D to continue....
#21 6:55am 10/08/03
As I said, all my techs have been used for ages or have their own.
#20 6:28am 10/08/03
The tech is pretty well established on TRF, it is on several other ships, has been used for ages.
It is most definitely not a new technology.
It’s not canon, and it’s not new, right down the middle. :|

Becuase they are not on a ship does not mean they are researched. The only reason they are on your previous ships is becuase they were there before the rule was administered.
#18 1:53am 10/08/03
Thats BS. Why would I have to research technologies already researched?
#17 11:47pm 09/08/03
You dont follow, that fact you R&D'd ships before this rule was in place does not mean that they are not new techs. The pre-date the rule, which means those vessels were accepted, yet any vessel wishing to be built post rule change will need its new components R&D'd
#16 11:20pm 09/08/03
But there is no new technology on the ship.
#15 10:54pm 09/08/03
Beff will back me on this whenever he gets his ass back here. We stated this:
1. R&D's involving new tech prior to the change would be accepted on the whole, as they came before the change
2. R&D's involving new tech after the change would require the new techs to be R&D'd seperatly before the R&D be considered.
Your new techs were accepted on your previous ships as they were before the change. Your new ships will have to follow the same lines as everyone elses.
