Sublight Engines: New model RX-Z21 Sekotian capital ship engines add a smooth flight to a strong engine. The standard Xyto cruiser uses RX-Z20 engines which aren’t as smooth, but are just as powerful. These engines use a crystal starting mechanism. When a switch is flipped on the bridge, a beam of light hits the crystal. The light is then broken into all the colors of the spectrum. Inside the mechanism are two receivers. One receives red light and one receives purple light. The lenses have lids that can open and close. Each engine has a small verbobrain that detects malfunctions in the system. When a malfunction is detected, the brain opens the lid over the red receptor and closes the one over the purple. When the red light hits the red receptor, the engine shuts down. This is an automatic safety function to keep the engine from exploding.
Bridge Bypass System: On each Neron-class there are two locations other than the bridge from which the ship can be controlled. The safety system in each one can bypass the bridge. However, there are two security codes and a voice recognition system to go through.
Other Equipment: Standard Sensors Package

If it is used a whole lot, why should I make a seperate R&D for something already commonly in use? As for the rest I lowered it down to where you said. Well sorta. I went about 800 SBD stronger on main shields.

Weapons emplacements i have a Kanbal standard of for a 3000m craft. 10110 SBD is the maximum total sheilds according to the formula.
Also, my reason for asking was right there. I said it right before i asked you to R&D it.
Also, find out what the Tacyon thing does. I'm not going to blindly let it go by, just because you don't know.
As for weapon emplacements, Kanbals 3000m standard was 266.
I think, in the effort to maintain that, you should lower the emplacement numbers to there.

Thanks and I lowered it a bit in all aspects. Should be about right now. As for the wiping yeah I know. Ya don't wipe you get a bunch of unneeded info then boom. It fries.

Kas' formula isn't perfect, it depends entirely upon the subject of the R&D. For instance, a light transport would likely not be compared to an Imperator for scale.
Lower hull rating
Cut some of those weapons
Drop the Sheild ratings, both of them.
Verbo-brain weaponry. I'll allow it to pass, as long as you take into consideration maitenance. You would be required to regularly wipe each verbo-unit constantly, which in and of itself would be a very extensive process... Unless you want your weapons developing personalities.
Subsequently, I have a hard time seeing the advantage here as opposed to other independant weapons systems. The verbo-brains would not become "better with age" due to the wiping process, and should you opt not to wipe them; while each unit would have a wealth of knowledge, it would also begin to develop a 'personality'.
That is all.
PS, thanks for all the hard work you put into this R&D. I really appreciate the extensive descriptive measures.

I actually used Kas's formula for the shields and hull. It's essentially three times the meters with a little leeway. As for the weapons, I compared it to the Imperator Star Destroyer and it's about right considering the size difference. A seperate R&D for installing verbobrains? Why? The light thingy as I said is an autoshutdown safety measure yes. Essentially just there to stop an unnecessary secondary explosion. And the codes. There are four people that know them. One is Kamon, another is the ships captain, the other two are the First Mate and the Head Engineer. And Zen told me about the Tachyon grid. Not sure exactly what it means. He just said I should have it.

-Lower Hull
-Lower shield level significantly
-Lower Weapon Emplacements significantly
The light thingy, is it simply a autoshutdown safety measure?
The codes, who knows them? Are they all in the bridge? Because that would kinda be silly and purpose defeating.
This Verbobrain tech is used a whole lot Kamon. I think you might have to make a seperate R&D for it.
Also, Tacyon Grid means what?
