Observer R&Ds: Operation Reflection

This is two gain a reaction and to see what Order I am going to get this done in. This is the over all goal for the following techs to gauge what they need and if this is a good set of techs to work towards.

Operation Reflection

Designed to make an illusionary force to confuse opponents with.

There are three tiers and four techs that are required for this system.


1-* * * * The Holo-shroud droid to make precise holographic representations.
2-* * * * The Sensor-shroud droid that can make precise false transmissions
3-* * * * Heavy weapons droids that can fly into place where there should be weapons and fire with real said weapons. Adding to the illusion of a real ship.

developed and manufactured by Fabritech, this device combined electromagnetic and holographic transmissions to "hide" a starship from most sensors. This device didn't absorb sensor beams but, rather, disrupted them by sending back information on the environment surrounding a starship. The Vanish 2 made a ship virtually disappear by sending back sensor data about the star field around it."

"Trickster
this is the brand name of Corellian Engineering's starship decoy system. An addition to a ship's countermeasures system, these small decoys could be deployed during flight. They sent out electromagnetic and holographic signals that duplicated those of the parent ship. The Trickster decoys required Imperial certification for operation during the New Order."

Tech one

Vanish 3 three sensor mask.

A more advanced version of the Vanish two sensor mask developed by Fabritech. Like the original, the vanish 3 sensor mask combines electromagnetic and holographic transmissions to hide ships from sensor detection. But the vanish three has been enhanced so that it can be installed in a smaller area as well as network itself within a group of such systems to enhance it’s processing power. Allowing for more elaborate sensor and holographic measures.

The system can also act like the Trickster system as well as a sensor mask. Meaning that the mask can be reversed so that it creates the illusion of a real ship where there is none.

This is one tier of Operation reflection’s three tier system of creating the illusion of a real ship. The Holo-shroud droids use the Vanish three sensor mask but have less of the Electromagnetic disguise systems installed and more of the holographic generators installed. This droid is dedicated to making the holographic appearance of a capitol ship. They can create a nearly flawless outer appearance of a ship by linking their systems into a network. Allowing them to think as one droid hive mind that overlaps their holograms so that there are no gaps. If one droid is destroyed then another can take it’s place.

They have the ability to give off false sensor data but it is mainly to cloak them selves when they are moving alone. They can make a false sensor ghost but they are far more limited in that ability then the Sensor-Shroud droid. It takes several more of them to create a successful illusion then it would with the Sensor-Shroud droid

They can create holo graphic weapons fire within their 25 meter radius as well.

The two droids can also be used to hide real ships by Using the sensor mask on the outer hull of a given ship allow them to use the Vanish two sensor mask to hide them from view. Effectively cloaking them.

2- dedicated sensor mask droid.

This droid ship uses the Vanish three sensor mask to either hide a ship or too reflect false sensor data. This ship has some holo graphic counter measures but they are mainly to hide themselves. The Droid itself is dedicated to giving off false sensor data. In a radius of 35 meters. This droid works in tangent with other droids of it’s kind to create a convincing illusion of a real ship.

This is the second tier of Operation reflection. While the Holo-shroud droid is able to duplicate the outer frame of a ship the Sensor shroud makes certain that there is a precise false sensor reading that is sent back to a given ships sensors. The two together make it so that a convincing Phantom ship can be created.

The two droids can also be used to hide real ships by Using the sensor mask on the outer hull of a given ship allow them to use the Vanish two sensor mask to hide them from view. Effectively cloaking them.

Designed to work as the third tier of Operation Reflection. This droid links with the Holo-shroud and the Sensor-shroud droids in order to give the impression that this illusionary ships are really armed as they appear to be. By linking with the droids in a network it can hold a stationary position and fire on the angles that a holographic weapon appears to be firing.

Becuase it is a heavy weapons ship it has only a limited Vanish three system for cloaking.
