You you have been just as bad as the next person more times then I can recall.
And fleet Rping ability has nothing do with any of this.
Fleet rping is a variable thing that has to do with who is in charge and political intervention these days. Rp ability often times has nothing to do with it these days. Just who says you are right and who says you are wrong.
Heck I feel like I am working at a political convention just to get an action done around here.
Insults about writing, fleeting, and ability are just plain low even for you.
sw-FANS. F A N S. This is not a site for stats, it is a site for character Role-Playing. I wanted to be a stat RPer. That is why I was kicked out of the site (or the moral reason anyways). The only ships that have complete stats are the ships Telan and others like me custom designed. Fleet RPing has almost died in a coffin at that website, (although from the Imperial standpoint, more and more people are getting involved. 2 to about 20 in a matter of weeks, or so)
I checked the hanger bay site. GJO agrees with the site in terms of most states.
And for lack of some official stats how is this site different from GJO when they supply simular stat information. It is still a site that was made unofficially. Yet is accuarate for the most part.
I fail to see the difference here in two sites that have simular content is all and on top of that are run by fans. Hence fan site.
Correct and other listed sources in this thread that we may use are made by fans as well. All of those general resource sites that Drayson listed are fan sites made by fans as well.
As I said many of these are good General resource sites. That we use to determine certain aspects of ships funtions in TRF.
So general resource fan sites, even when most of the stats seem accurate to most information out there, are not viable to use as a resource to nowq?
Try two of five ren, Drayson would like to think that he is a mod but he is just pushy, and Kas just agreed with me on my main point, that being that I have been stateing that this is a credible General Resource site.
Key word being General: Defined as loosely used.
As usely as other sites used as general resource sites.
The other important word being canon: as in the stats are as accurate to the relative stats as any of the acceptable general resource sites.
For the life of me I do not know what the problem is with it. It is as fallible in terms of Canon stats as any of the other reference site. Banning one is like banning the use of all of the other accurate sites as well.
Three reputable moderators have seemed to disagree with you . . .so whether or not Lup is biased is of no consequence.
Lup is a mod, therefore his word on the board is law, if one sees otherwise one seeks to settle it with the staff or Lupercus himself over one's instant messenger or EZinbox.
If one was so dissatisfied with Lup's performances with moderation in the R&D department, then one would be encouraged to write up a formal complaint in the out of character forum addressing one's grudges.
Hence what I said about it being a good general reference to draw from and that it's information is as accurate as many fan sites out there.
And Lup is so infallible that he is right about everything all of then drayson? Not quite. Just becuase someone disagrees or does not understand something does not make a person right. And people with grudges tend to be less able to agree with others that they do not like. Basic psychology.

GJO is not a valid site for TRF ship stats, no matter what you say Vonta. The main TRF staff has said as much, so has the R&D staff.

Vonta, WTF?
Six people have told you that GJO is not an approved resource site. Two of them are board moderators, and another is an R&D mod.
The other three are fleet RPers far better than yourself.
Stop trying to press the issue. You asked for staff to comment, they did. Now you're bitching about them being wrong.

Anyways, not a good resource site.

"I fail to see the difference here in two sites that have simular content is all and on top of that are run by fans."
One is approved for use.
The other is not.

We have some official sites. Hangarbay, the Unofficial Encyclopedia, WEG books, to name the most used.
GJO is a fan site, and as such may be updated at any time with fan made material, which someone would then use on TRF, which would be illegal.
That's why you can't use fan sites.
That's why we have the General R&D section.

It's a fan site with ships created for a fan group, maintained by a fan.
That's what is wrong with it.

The GJO is acceptable as a loose reference, but it is not, and will not, be an official site to draw stats from.
There's a big difference there.

So, because Lup doesn't like he's wrong.
Sure...
