Additional Information

A mid-range vessel of the Royal Navy, the Sword of Hapes was designed as a single-duty craft. These 2000-meter ships are deployed to the most sensitive combat zones alone or in pairs, and utilizing their array of extensive shields and weapons systems, these ships are able to take on entire armadas of lesser vessels with ease. But despite its size, its dedicated role generally means the 'Sword' cannot be used effectively as a command craft, since its build focus specifies combat.

The Sword of Hapes, like the smaller Jewel of Hapes, incorporates landing facilities for the Consortium's new droid starfighters, but unlike the Jewel lacks the ability to change her bays into standard fighter landing areas.

The Hapan Government spared no expense in the design and construction of the Sword, long considered a replacement for the ageing Darkstar-Class line. The vessels are outfitted with state-of-the-art sensors and detection systems, and their large crews are considered a small sacrafice for the powers the Sword of Hapes brings to the Hapan navy.

Designed specifically for use with the Royal Navys newer and more powerful craft, the Sword was remarked by its designers as being the Battleship class equivilent of the powerful Lorell Gunship, whose combat victories have seen the craft awarded the 'gunship of the decade' title by the Galactic Strategic Planning Institute (Danoz) for its no frills attitude to combat, despite the tech laden nature of todays gunship market.

Drayson is right, again.

The sheild rating of the Executor was numbered in the 100,000s.

Also note the fact that not only are there are number of generators, but more importantly, there is a sheild charging specific reactor included in the tech. This is another reason as to the bullshit slowness of the craft.

Kas, ESD shields are far stronger than 12000 SBD! If I recall correctly, they're around 100 000.

As for emplacements... I would disagree. But that's just me. An ISDII still carries 250 seperate cannons...

EDIT: Removed a not nice and potentially inflamatory comment.

Gah. I missed that, yes. Please reduce the shield rating.

Isn't that rather high? That's ESD strength.

You are still pushing the limit a bit, but I will allow the ship as it is.

Approved.
And, as I said already, an ISD Mark I carries 60 turbolasers. An ISD Mark II carries 250 turbolaser emplacements.
Wrong. And 'emplacement' is totally separate from a 'turbolaser'. An emplacement can have 4 turbolasers, eg, a battery, or it can have 1 turbolaser, eg, a heavy turbolaser.

The ISD II has 60 emplacements, each emplacement holding a quad turbolaser. Of what strength that turbolaser is, is unknown.

Speak for yourself there . . .

Well, by that count then i've removed 138 turbolasers. Can i re-add 38 different emplacements?

Note that the first and third sources list 60 turbolaser batteries, and the second lists 60 turbolasers. A Turbolaser and a Turbolaser Battery are seperate items.

And, as I said already, an ISD Mark I carries 60 turbolasers. An ISD Mark II carries 250 turbolaser emplacements. If I say "an ISD has 250", I assume you can put one and one together and determine I'm speaking of the Mark II, not the original.

Any source was use regarding the ISDII will list 250 turbolaser emplacements. 50 Heavy Turbolasers, and 50 Heavy Turbolaser Batteries. A battery is four fire-linked cannons, so if you split each battery into its seperate cannons, you get the sum of 250.

ISDI: 60 turbolasers (or 240, depending on whether the canon stats are "turbolasers" or "batteries", I thought it was turbolasers, myself)
ISDII: 250 (50 cannons, 50 batteries)

Yes Kas is correct.

Also, Drayson, I really wonder about your readin comprehension skills.
Actually, Amaer, your first set of stats is different from the other two. However, I do see your misconception. A Mark II ISD carries 250 turbolaser emplacements.

Griff, if that's true, then you'll have ahard time proving it. An ISD, at 1600 meters, carries 250 turbolaser emplacements, 9700 Stormtroopers, various landing vehicles, ground support, garrisons, and support vessels.
First of all, all three sets of stats say the same thing, in regard to turbolasers. Each stat say 60 turbolasers. Any statment to the contrary is a blatant lie. Slight differnce comes in the description of the battiers, one naming the manufactuer, but the number is the same. 60.

Next, you contradict yourself, after stating an ISD has 60 turbolasers, you come back and tell griff that an "ISD, at 1600 meters, carries 250 turbolaser eplacments...."

It is as if any evidenc that is not shared by your mind is simply irrelevant. At least consider what people have to say before you just ignore them.

If you show me a TRF offical site that lists an ISD at 250 turbolaser emplacments i will come right out and say I was wrong and stand corrected.

Untill then, I think you would do well to at least consider what other say.

50 Heavy Turbolaser Cannons
50 Heavy Turbolaser Batteries

A battery is four fire-linked cannons. Therefor, the total number of cannons on an ISDII is 250. Executor SDs, if I recall correctly, carry 250 batteries -- 1000 cannons, all told.

"A Mark II ISD carries 250 turbolaser emplacements."

No, an Executor Star Destroyer has 250 tubrolaser emplacements. The ISD II has 100.

Where the hell did you get the figure of 270 from?

However, on review of the stats, I do see a small error. The proper turbolaser numbers (from my ideas) should be 50 Heavy Batteries, and 100 Heavy Cannons, for a total of 300 turbolaser emplacements.

That, however, does not make your demand that the ship be reduced to less than that of a smaller, more generalized ISD, any less rediculous. There is no reason this ship should not be able to carry more weapons than an ISD.

I am not an idiot Drayson and I know what the hell I'm talking about.

Lose. 100. Turbolsasers.
