Design Specifications: The Feram is designed as a Fleet Tender that is capable of towing damage or disabled capital warships out of the combat area and back to a shipyard for repairs. The ship features particle, and ray shields, and a large complement of engines, suitable for towing large masses of metal out of a combat area. The ships armament consists of four Quad laser cannons for minimal defenses against small captial warships, or starfighters that may interfere with the ship's efforts. Each tug can tow a starship with a length of 1000 meters or less. There is an advantage though with more than one tug. Not only does two tugs get 2,000 meters for their combined efforts, but an additional 1,000 meters totalling 3,000 meters for their combined efforts. Three would get a combined total of 5,000 meters. And so on.

Yeah, but that's a modification (of sorts). Or something.

This is a good idea, though. I approve.

LOL, I just remade the ISD myself, that Mark IA design.

See, @#%$ like that is reason the R&D system was created.

Not for you other punks to remake the ISD for the thirtieth time.

Good job, Kraken.

Nope. It is more a Fleet Tug than repair vessel. Used to tug friendly, or disabled enemy warships, or other things out of a battle zone, and into a friendly zone.

Interesting design, and a good idea.

*Goes and steals one*

So this ship has no repair capability of its own?
