The Andros class-Shipyard Defense System was envisioned by Vice-President Marth Meer. The Andros is designed to be built and then fastened to a shipyard through the use of Electro-Magnets. It can project a shield sphere with a diameter of 45 km around the shipyard thus protecting it from enemy attacks. Depending on the sucess of the Andros there may be other component 'upgrades' designed in the near future for shipyards.
