Nah. Trinity meant that it was intended as an answer to the Star Destroyer.
Strike Cruisers are 450 meters, and the Liberator is 400 meters, lets just leave it like that.

Two conflicting claims as to its size here. One says it's the size of a Strike cruiser and another says its the size of an ISD.

I would like to mention that this ship is comparable to the strike class cruiser in size, weapons, ect. and I would make the case that the shields and hull would be at least as good as theirs.

As for amount of weaponry, Strike cruisers were 450 meters, and carried 40 weapons, Medium powered. Figure in my weapons scale, a ship that size figures in.......30 weapons.

The stats are the most agreed upon version that I could find.
The ship is stated to be "small" as well as "Compact" in the Unoffical star wars encyclopedia and hanger bay and it is ranked as a cruiser on hanger bay so it is hence a "small Compact cruiser".
Hanger bay and Unoffical SW Encyclopedia also state that the ship is heavily armed with Turbo-lasers and Ion canons.
So either way they should have a fairly generous compliment of each in some number.

Not a chance, Cracker.
What that says is that it was widely produced when the Empire was at it's best, not [b]by[/b] the Empire.
The ship was invented by the creators of "Rebellion" to give the Alliance something to fight the Imperial Star Destroyers, and is most commonly placed around 1800 meters.
