Explanations:
Multi-XMAP:
Advanced Phalanx Network: This version of the Phalanx Network has been upgraded to include a mix of various types of cannons. There are three types of cannons used in this network. The first is a small number of advanced flechette launchers. These launchers launch tubes filled with the shrapnel, and ionic fields that detonate 10 kilometers out from the ship, filling the missile's paths with stuff that could confuse the warheads, and cause them to detonate, taking out other nearby missiles. The next line is a series of 3-barrel laser gattling cannons. These cannons fire at a rate of a anti-starfighter quad laser cannon, and have an effective range of 5 kilometers. Lastly, but not least, is the 6-barrel laser gattlings normally used in the original phalanx network. These fire three times as fast as a quad laser cannon, and usually take out the most warheads. Linking these systems together is an advanced targeting computer that analyzes the warheads path as they approach closer to the ship, increasing the normal accuracy of these cannons by a substantial sum. Short Range (under 10 kilometers) missile strike reduced to 75%, Long Range down to 20%.
Rerouter Stations (7):
These stations come equipped with lots of specially made power lines with a very wide bandwith, allowing an unusual amount of power to be fed through them at one time. These stations basically act to transfer power from one type of system to another, within seconds, without the risk of overloading the computers, and lines, and slagging them, resulting in a meltdown, and powerfailure. 70% power can be transferred from one system to another per a post with these stations on the Superior.
Proton Torpedo Octect:
These special launchers are actually eight proton torpedo tubes crammed into one launcher. In order to prevent thrust damage from simultaneous launches, the launcher has to project it's self away from the ship, and at must redock with the ship in order to reload. If the launcher is destroyed while fully loaded, the ship suffers about 10-15 meters worth of destroyed hull from the chain reaction explosion.
Firing Arcs:
Turbolasers:
76 topside, 24 bottomside.
Ion Cannons:
36 topside, 14 bottomside.
Proton Torpedo Launchers:
150 topside, 50 bottomside.
Weapon Layout: Topside:
Guns arrainged into four clusters, two front (one port, one starboard), and two aft (one port, one starboard). In each cluster: 19 Turbolasers, 9 Ion Cannons.
Torpedo Launchers: Four groups of 35 each, two port, two starboard, in centre of ship. 5 more tubes port, starboard each towards the bow.
Bottomside:
Guns: at random intervals sufficent to defend ship from any angle.
Torpedo Launchers:
25 port, 25 starboard, spaced evenly along length of ship.
Arcs:
Bow:
50 Turbolasers, 25 Ions, 200 proton launchers.

Ok, there ya go.
#38 8:08am 12/06/04
Then take em off.
#37 7:13am 11/06/04
None of them.
#36 5:36am 11/06/04
How many of them have their own R&D slot?

Ion/EMP Protection System
State-of-the art ion and EMP dispersing technology. Imperial engineers became aware that ion cannons and EMP weapons could be devestating against Imperial ships, and set about correcting it.
The solution was to line the inner hull with special ulithium plating, which effectively reduces the damage done by an ion and/or EMP barrage.
Reactive Shielding
Reactive shielding is a system designed to protect the Messiah from energy weapons. When the vessel’s shields are raised, a special battery bank is charged along with them. Then, when computers detect a substantial bombardment against any section of the vessel, the shield is immediately recharged with stored energy from this bank.
Multi Track Shielding
Multi Track Shielding uses a dedicated targeting computer imbedded in the shielding system to track approaching enemies and calculate approximate damage. The system automatically them distributes shields for maximum damage resistance. Combined with reactive shielding, this system gives the Superior an unprecedented edge in battle.
Gauntlet Interior Defence Network
The Gauntlet is a complex system of internal safety to protect the Superior from would-be boarders. Drop down repeating blasters are located in every corridor, along with gravity traps, nerve gas capsules, and decompression systems.
All except the very last one have been used on several ships that were previously approved.

What other Drayson stuff is featured here?
#33 7:53pm 09/06/04
*Slaps Lup's and Kas's heads together*
Now if we can get back on topic........
#32 5:17am 09/06/04
*guts the nosey reporter*
Yes, on the record...
#31 2:06am 09/06/04
Ok, I removed the Cold Plasma Armour, and read everything else over, and it makes sense to me.
#30 10:10pm 08/06/04
Unfortunatly, due to some ezcrap stuff, I can't post in my VAK account at the moment. But I will remove the Cold Plasma Armour.
#29 4:57pm 08/06/04
Agreed.
#28 9:40am 08/06/04
Then I'll reject the ship unless you want to individually research those techs.
Or remove them.
Your call.
#27 11:03pm 07/06/04
Some of the Techs, yes, were designed by Drayson and used on other ships.
#26 9:34pm 07/06/04
If you want a bio hull, design a ship with a bio hull, not a ship with multiple hulls.
#25 9:17pm 07/06/04
Is this a Drayson design? *rubs face*
