Then don't post in any R&D Submission threads, consequnces issuied from such offenses will come from the R&D staff just as they would from the regular board staff. To accomadate those with a need to assist the R&D staff without notice a stickied thread will be posted in which you may post your issuies about specific R&D's.
The format of these posts must be made in said manner:
Subject: The R&D your comment is about
Comment: A short synopses about your issuie

Om, I ment that the R&D was done in the old system, made its way onto the Approved list, but was never approved...

If the R&D's were approved under the old system, that is fine. If the R&D's were written after new system was in place, then if there are no 500 word rp's for the tech it should not be in a fleet rp.
If there are, they should be removed.
In fleet rp's, one of the first things done is verification & info request of R&D's being used (as either approved under old system or with rp for new system).
I've not seen this done for the current war.

Well in either case there are several notable GC R&Ds that have no 500-word Demo threads attached, that have been used in past and current threads.

There is no more approval for R&D's. We are allowing people to slit their own throats when designing stuff and using it. The only decision we will make as staff is either to remove the R&D totally or decide that (based on the use of a person's uber craft) that they cannot handle the use of R&D's and so their group will be denied the privilege of having R&D'd craft.
We don't really care if a person thinks they can design a badass ship, tank or whatever. What we care about is it's reasonable use in roleplay. Notice I do not say logical. Everyone becomes a lawyer when it's their craft on the chopping block.
That is why some R&D's that people think are too uber are not removed. Because they haven't been used in actual roleplay.
That being said, I believe the Azguard God's are a storyline vehicle. So they cannot go attacking ships or whatever. Basically, in the same manner that your hypergate network can play no part in fleet roleplays.

never approved as an R&D, I believe that it was just agreed that they would be RP'd and not actually approved after that.
