Alliance Tech

With the alliance falling behind in the Tech war a few small improvement are needed to update the ships of the past into weapons for the future.

In battles with the imperials the new Super turbolasers have given them a major advantage in weapons range. This is rectified by the vengeance Quadra Turbolaser. Utilizing state of the art smelting technology, the Bore of the new vengeance turbolaser contains 75 percent more hyperbaride than conventional turbolasers. Matched with new galven coil technology the Vengeance turbolaser is the state of the art in weapons technology. The quadra name comes from the fact that the beam is ran threw four energized gas layers instead of two in the precoil entergizing process. The increases the power by a multiple of six before the galven process focuses the beam and releases the power from the multiple capacitors. In addition to the hyperbaride, the muzzle is cooled via a sophisticated cryosyetem using solid hydrogen cooling coils. the resulting weapon has a more focused beam so therefor a much farther range and more powerful beam than conventional particle turbolaser weapons.

The weapon is larger and has a slower firing rate than standard weapons. These are only Heavy Turbolaser mounts. the technology and construction practices needed to make these weapons work can only be achieved on the heavy mounts. Normal and light Turbolasers do not have large enough bores to handle the focused energy. It can be mounted in Double Batteries, Quad Batteries, Batteries or Octuple Batteries

FCMC (Ferrocarbon Condensed Matter Composite) Starship Frame Alloy

FCMC alloy is the stat of the art alloy for Starship frames. The bonded ferrocarbon and matter composite make an alloy that is both strong and partially pliable. This allows the frame of a starship to withstand more punishment from kinetic attacks. The FCMC alloy allows the ship to both withstand and defuse the vibration and rigors of battle. This is just a fluffy tech to use to give the vessel better anti-missile defense IC. nothing really complicated about it .

Neuduraquad Armor

Standard armor is very effective and works well but with new more powerful weapons we need something a bit more dense and stronger. Neuduraquad Armor is the Answer. This sophisticated armor is a layered armor. this means the plant has layers of materials laid over each other. The interior most plate is made of Neutronium. This dense alloy offers a fare better interior strength to the armor of starships. It contains internal explosions caused by who knows what and keeps these disasters contained batter than older armor. The next five layers are a sandwich plate of Duranium and Quadanium mesh. Three layers of Quadanium Mesh sandwich two layers of Duranium to give the armor a massively dense property which aids in protecting it from both kinetic and heat Damage. A second layer of Neutronium makes the sandwich layer complete. The top most layer is a thin layer of Neuranium which itself is as dense as the other seven layers. It provides anti-scanning properties as well as protection from cutting beams and even light sabres for a limited time. the mass and cost of this armor is staggering and this should be limited to areas of the ship which need more protection. The proposed use is in belts. Areas of the ship needing more protection such as fuel and weapons holds, engineering and engine areas, weapons pods, and command and control areas. The more uses the heavier the mass. large amounts of this armor will drastically decrease the speed and maneuvering of a vessel. Ok think Battleship armored belts. anyone who knows what they are will understand. Basically sections of the ship will have this armor in place of standard armor in areas of importance. laying a ship completely with this armor would make it too slow and forget turning around. Although if a smaller vessel was laid out with this armor and enough engine and thruster power was added the ship would be a force to be reckoned with.

Ionic Scatter Charge launcher

For anti-missile/torpedo/fighter protection The alliance is behind the game. Standard point defense lasers can no longer fend off the hordes of fighters the empire can send at us. They need a major overhaul in targeting and tracking. Until Alliance engineers can work threw this problem a new answer has been found. The Ionic Scatter Charge Launcher. This weapon works much like the Ionic Flak cannon but yelds a wider dispersion projectile. It has a effective range of 500 Meters where the Launched cannister explodes via a shaped charge. The canister does two things. It creates a ionic barrier behind it which repels ions then explodes releasing smaller Ionic discharge pods. These pods fire from a shaped charge which scatters them all away from the ionic barrier then each pod explodes releasing a massive electrical charge. Multiple Launchers can create a ionic shield effect which canopies the vessel in a ionic storm disabling any fighter or missile inside the charge canopy. Duration of the canopy is approximately 3 minutes and 37 seconds. decreasing in strength through out the time period. The launcher is approximately the size of 2 Quad Lasers and launchers 4 canisters. This is an advanced ionic weapon that can disable targets before they can hit our ships basically.

These new additions and a few more to come will help the rebels take the fight to the evil doers of the galaxy.

Why would you think I would not? lol

This was just a preliminary post so people could look it over and comment. This tech was posted over a week ago in the rebel forum for members to do the same before I posted it here. Each tech will be worked out and have a post. They will be used once Reshmar has set up a shipyard. None of this tech exsists as of Sullust. After that Resh will find a spot for 3rd fleet to call home and have a ship yard sent there from Rendili. No ship currently active in any thread has any of the new tech.
As for the 500 word per tech post. I fully intended on doing the writing. I am working on getting things ready for that and many more things for 3rd fleet.

All of this still requires an RP, and since I'm a prick; a 500 word RP for each new technology. And if you plan on applying these to your already existent forces I can guarantee you're going to run in to problems.
