As darkness falls.....
The evil men come out to play.
The air grew rich and heavy with his anticipation of what this night would bring to him. He had been seeking such treasure for a time now, and had finally found what he was looking for. The holocron on display in the museum, thought to be a ancient artifact, useless to anyone now, was merely awaiting one who was capable of touching the dark side of the force.
All he had to do now, was to "liberate" it. With his black cape billowing around his tall and muscular form, the Sith Knight strode down the main boulevard, completley oblivious to the sounds of late night traffic and passerbys who looked at him like he was either crazy or was a choice morsel for stealing from.
As he approached his target, he exuded from himself the aura of the dark side of the force, casting the streets a few degrees cooler than their normal temperature state, and causing everyone in the immediate area to shiver for some reason or another. He opened his senses fully now, and chose to ignore the information left for him by the woman that he had seen earlier.
While it felt good to have such willing allies waiting about, he did not need her help at the present time. More than likely, she had been lulled in by the false layer of security, and had been monitored and recorded by the real layer that he had sensed earlier. He did want any connection between her and him to sound off the alarm prematurely.
But still....
Extending his awarness, he found her nearby, watching him with interest. Establishing a mental link, he warned her to stay away from him this night, for her own safety. Then, he sent a single thought to her, as a parting gift should her loyalty to him be true.
Xa Fel.
Now, it was time.
The steps leading up to the darkened museum were completley deserted, save for an occasional homeless person looking for someplace to set up shop. He ignored these people and headed straight up to where the doors sat locked. He stopped before them, exuding one single breath in anticipation of the fight to come.
Gathering the force in his right hand, he envisioned the glass doors in his mind, and made a simple pulling gesture with his right hand. Suddenly, four of the doors lined across the wall exploded outwards, showering him with glass fragments, as alarms sounded from inside the museum. The moment he started moving, a storm of glass fragments fell from his cloak and clothes.
Stepping through the ruined doorways, he made his way down the main corridor to the teaching section of the museum. His first obstacle presented it's self in the form of a trio of security guards that came rushing out of a rec room. He grimaced as one of the fatter guards was trying to finish a tasty morsel before confronting him. He shook his head at their insolence. They tried to put their full authority upon him. He set them in their proper place.
Breezing past their corpses, he found what he was looking for, the Sith holocron. He pretended to study it for a few moments, before placing it in his robes and leaving the observation room behind. Heading back torwards the entrance, he could see a lot of lights, along with the sound of sirens and voices coming over comlinks, and he knew that the calvary had arrived.
Good. This was starting to get a little boring anyways...
He was not dissapointed when he walked through the shattered entreway and out into the cool night air. The clack of a hundred blaster safeties being released sounded across the stairway. Necros looked down to see a hundred infantry soldiers, wearing simple army uniform garb, and four light hovertanks, their weapons leveled simply at him. He smiled.
The commander of the guard ordered him to raise his hands. He completed half of that order, raising his arms, outstretched, to his sides, his hands empty and spread open. The dark side of the force flowed into his hands. The commander again ordered him to raise his hands, or else. Looking directly into the man's eyes with a sense of excitement, he swung his arms and clapped them together, directly in front of him.
The soldiers had no time to react before the force wave smashed into them, flining them backwards, into, over, and behind the tanks into the boulevard, most of them being knocked out, the others stunned. One or two of them snapped their necks or suffered otherwise fatal injuries. The tanks themselves were buffeted, their aim being thrown off when they fired in response. The cannon shells impacted all around the knight, blasting ferrocrete into his face and features but not injuring him.
Smiling, he extended both of his hands, palms outreached and facing upwards. Envisioning two of the light tanks in his mind, he smiled when they began to rise upwards, their crews looking panicked as they lost control of their vehicles. The commander looked confused as the two vehicles rose up in the air without him issueing the orders.
Still smiling, he turned his palms to face downwards. The commander and one or two others managed to leap clear as the vehicles hovering high in the air turned over and crashed upon the two sitting on the ground, all four vehicles detonating in two massive fireballs that flew upwards into the sky.
Having vanquished the army forces, Necros made his leave. He was walking down the stairway when a single blaster shot impacted into his side, throwing him slightly to one side. He looked over in a blaze to see the TNO commander lying there, aiming a blaster pistol at the Sith.
"Damn you to hell. You won't leave this planet alive, you stinking piece of Jedi shit scum." ground out the commander from his pained voice. Necros looked at him like he was an insane man, then lifted his hand. Blue lightning issued forth and electrocuted the stupid man to death. Necros then faded into the shadows of the night as reinforcements arrived on the scene.
Later, after departing the planet on his personal ship, he took time to dress and tend to his wound. Grimacing slightly, not at the pain which he enjoyed, but at his own carelessness. He was lucky to be alive right now, and he would have to take steps to avoid being caught off guard in the future. Perhaps it was time to construct another lightsaber, thought Necros as his ship hurtled into the oblivion of hyperspace.
