Um... that Inspiring the enemy thing has gotten me thinking on a train of though difficult to put into words, but it makes me think of a more extreem case, where I imagine Nazi Germany didn't release pictures from concentration camps for fear of them "Inspiring the enemy".

Actually, the Nazis filmed just about everything.

As a German, I would like to shed some light there. Most footage was destroyed, and what remains was taken by the Amis, the Russians, or another enemy source. German films, even by the SS or SD, were forbidden.
And it was not just the Jews that the Nazis abused.
( note the word Nazis. Firstly, most concentration camp guards were Germanic, Flemish, Swede, Norwegian, Danish, et al. And not all Germans were Nazis)
And what about the Amis? How many times did you go through your own period of abusing your own citizens? How long did you abuse, torture, enslave, kill, maim, degrade, and villify the blacks????
