Upon Sarce's request a large freighter emerged from hyperspace near the beautiful world of Mimban. As the planet slowly spun beneith the freighter, the command crew was busy getting in touch with the planet's control station in order to recieve clearance and landing instructions. This crew was well experianced and had been on leave before getting recalled back to duty when the Mimban's contract was signed. Even though they were upset about cutting their vacation time short, they all knew that compensations would be given for their timely arrival.
Stellar Enterprises worked hard to keep their customers happy and every job was made sure to be started on time so that its completion could be quick, yet reliable. Many of their customers were on timely schedules and were glad to not have to wait long before their projections reached completion. And so it was the same with this Mimban contract. Not even three days after the contract had been made, this freighter was now on site to conduct the first phase of the operation.
As it slowly decended towards the equator of the lush green planet the engineering crews were busy at work. They were preparing creates for off loading as well as making sure all the construction droids were in good working order. Large lifter droids rolled across the expanse of the massive cargo bay and moved heavy creates towards the exit doors. These containers were scheduled to be the first ones off loaded and so as soon as the freighter touched down and the large heavy ramp extended outward, the lifter droids quickly rolled out with their cargo in hand.
Hundreds of engineers and technicians rushed out with the droids and proceded to quickly establish a base of operations. This base would be set up close to mountain range, in the jungle that surrounded it. In order to build it up and provide the team with the best working condition, construction droids set about to make a clearing. THey did this by uprooting trees from the area and stacking them on the side to be replanted elsewhere.
While the droids cleared the area, more and more contrainers were being offloaded and stacked at a designated area. Some of these containers were massive, larger than three fighter spacecraft put together. These would be the power generator units for the planetary shield generator that would be assembled on at this site. Upon completion this generator would be moved into a preconstructed housing underneath the nearby mountain. This site was picked for its centeral location on the planet and also because of the high ore deposites shown on ground scans. These deposites within the mountain would make the electronics of the shield projector harder to detect. It was also heavy ore deposits, only further away from this construction site, that Stellar Enterprises would get to mine later on.
As the stacking and clearing commenced teams of construction works and architects, as well as droids, headed off towards the mountain. They would search for a proper place at which to begin the digging operations. These men and women would come up with ways to make the underground room stronger and more resistant to damage.
