The Rebel Faction

Though it may seem as though I am 'spamming' this sub-forum because the topic has no general relevancy to The Rebel Faction in any such way, which if it does, then I apologise in advance for the trouble I may have caused, I could not find anywhere else to place the topic.

I have decided to create a new forum for a new RPG that I am creating, it will be post-based and set within the future. I was wondering whether anyone has any experience in forum creation and would be willing to offer support as an administrator on the website.

General Plot

The year is 2089. The world is a darker place.

The world has become a place of corruption, deceit and fanatical cults. Countries wage wars with one another that last few days. People are beaten and murdered for walking the streets. The world has become a place of chaotic violence and deception.

The streets have become a place of prostitution, narcotics and degradation of all forms. The countries have become places of corruption and political deception. The world is no longer a world. It has become a place of danger and corruption.

Men and women from all areas of life have fell victim to the accelerating increase in crime and political corruption. Bodies are found each day by the force that are ‘good’. The planet is no longer safe. Only the determination of others can save the world. But who will those the path of honesty when the road to corruption is so clear?

The choice is yours to make. As a person living within the streets of a corrupt world, only you can stop the corruption and deception from spreading to the hearts and minds of those around you. Or will you choose to follow in the footsteps of others and become like the world?

You have so many choices to make within the world. Make your own storyline as the world and your character develops. The future is yours to make. What will happen? Who will fall and who will rise. Let the corruption begin.

The above is the general plot for the game and I feel that if someone where to improve the design and act as an adminstrative power, using their forum skills and writing skills to develop the website, then perhaps the website can become like this one....popular.

Since what you said seems to be the most sensible advice that someone could give, I decided to take more time and input more ideas into the forum. It now actually looks like a forum and I would hope that we could have an affiliation some day.

Good luck kid, I have started one failed forum (though it's still the most successful WWII RPG on the net!) and been a staff member on another. A little advice, The bottleneck is finding members, so you'll have to spread the word way out way fast, but if you can do that, beautiful. You should have no problem.
