So Frustrating!

So I downloaded Ventrilo today so that I might be more effective (as well as be able to join better guilds) for PvP, raid groups, etc. on various games. Thing is, I'm entirely ignorant as to how to set it up. The online/website intstructions aren't getting through my thick skull, and neither are those that the program comes with when installed. I go to Start > All programs > VentSrv... which gives me a list of items to select, and I'm stuck there.

To those that have Ventrilo or know how to set it up, I'd be soooo appreciative if you help me out. I'll give screenshots and answer questions - as long as I can get this damn thing working.

Does it ask which program you would like to run this application from? Because if it does, you need to choose the program that you wish to set the application to run with, if not, I'll try to find some solutions soon.

I'm stuck for an answer then, I don't have a clue about Ventrilo, I don't use myself so I can't help you except for the basic knowledge of computing.

At night they come without being fetched.
And by day they are lost without being stolen.
