If he wants dinosaurs, just to go a certain south pacific island in the Tarawa area, head into the mangroves, and start making a ruckus. Then he gets a real close look at some modern day dinos, and his colleagues might learn something about them by whatever remains of him they find.

That's a new theory. The whole idea that the complexity of the Universe is completely out of our understanding isn't new, it's simply the whole idea of different realities for different species. That whole theory is rather complex and needs to be researched further before it can become a valid theory about the Universe. The Universe simply being too queer for our understanding though, I would say that is completely ridiculous. We already have the knowledge and technology to find the answers, we simply have to find the competent men and women of this era to run the research program.
