Eternal flame within a body. Eternal light within a soul.
In the ship database, in the section 'Support Craft' there are two ships - Nebulon-B frigate and Nebulon-B2 Frigates listed under the Imperial heading. Shouldn't those ships be listed under the Rebel or 'New Republic' heading?

Jedi Mastah
They were originally Imperial ships that were decomissioned I believe.

All Nebulon-B frigates the Rebels had were captured from Imperials.

The Nebulon-B frigate was created with the intent of countering the threat posed by Rebel fighters since that was their tool of choice in the Rebellion. The Alliance could not match the Empire in larger-scale weaponry or tactics and so had resorted to raids conducted by hyper-space capable snub fighters. The Nebulon-B frigate was the precursor to the infitiely successful Lancer Frigate.
The Nebulon-B frigate was produced by the Empire at the yards on Corellia, with a few more being completed at Commenor. When it was found that the Rebels did indeed single out the class for capture, they were generally decommissioned or relagted to non-combat duties such as transports or command-ships for outposts that did not warrant cuirsers being sent. Many were desroyed or scrapped, the remainder falling mroe and mroe into greedy Rebel hands. The Empire had no reason to keep the Nebulon-B around since it had found a more-than capable replacement in the form of the Lancer Frigate.

GET THAT PAPER
Lancer Frigate wasn't hugely succesful. The Empire always placed them at the tail end of formations, allowing larger Rebel ships to pick them off.

Certain officers did yes. But there were those who saw their true potential and used them accordingly. Such as Grand Admiral Il'Raz at the Battle of Ushant when he kept four Lancer frigates in close to his four ISD IIs and decimated an entire wing of Rebel X-wings without even deploying his TIEs.
