The organizers aren't helping at all with my introductions - they're the sort of people who hire someone they hear is funny, then cut out all the humour because it turns out it's the humour they didn't want, and are now personally disappointed in you. Apparently it's all my fault that they didn't tell me things like what I was supposed to do, who the sponsors were, or who the acts were. Anyways, just two more days (The actual performance days) then I'm free of this hell.
On the plus side, it is really no skin off my nose if things go sour. I'm part of no organization, nor am I being paid, nor do I have classes with any of the teachers involved. They can't really punish me, other than cutting my mic and generally disrupting their own performance, so I'm at least relaxed in that regard.
Thus, I'll start posting again on Saturday, and you should all probably notice a massive uptick in happiness, energy, and enthusiasm. See you then.
