I was expecting this to be an old-fashioned gore-fest of sorts, but I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. It takes all the right elements that constitute horror, drama, and thrillers, and combines them together into something that has both a good storyline and a number of very creepy scenes. The girl who played Emily Rose was perfect for the role, too, in several ways -- aside from the superb acting, she wasn't a typical Hollywood bombshell, and that always helps. Basically, if you're looking for a movie filled with copious amounts of violence, blood and gore, this probably won't be your thing. But it's a great film nonetheless, very unique and put together well. Definitely recommended.

It was ok. If you've seen one exorcism movie you've seen them all.

It was fuckin gross when that bitch was eating spiders off the floor.

El mas chingon!
Too bad those events were completely untrue. She was a paranoid schizophrenic in real life, so all of it was in her mind.

So thanks, Kach - you killed David Carradine!

"What? What? Where are the nipples?" enters Seth Vinda.

"NIF. But I will find them! I am god like that." Kach Thorton speaks up.

*laughs* I went to see it but spent most of the time cowering in my popcorn…

... Like Taja, however, I was surprise by the “legal” theme of the film. It was a refreshing change from your average scary movie.

That film deviated from the known facts so in such dramatic a fashion that I was inclined to gather its producers and subject them to a Beff-style possession which would, of course, invariably include a wide array of whirly gigs and what-cha-mah-jiggers.

Based on True Events - If you ever see this tagline attached to any film that is not biographical in genre, you can safely assume it'll be an adventure into the bowels of Hollywood shite. Mostly.

A Beff style posession? That's pretty bad, but a Telan-Steda posession, now that's just terrible...
