Yo, thought I'd post to get rid of this "you have less then three posts" message. Also might ask some questions.

No one barring admins are allowed access. Until it is finished. Which will take quite a long while. 3-6 months I think.

What bits are you confused about Beff and I'll see if I can straighten things out for you.
If it's about the Sith then it's simply a point-of-view problem. Kevin thinks the Jedi there are Sith, remember he is only a 13 year old so his common sense is a little off the mark at times.

Padawan is when you have a Master, then Knight, then Master.
As far as I'm aware of the canon ranks are:
Youngling, Trainee, Apprentice, Padawan, Knight, Master
(with the first two going by age and Apprentice is when they are able to 'audition' for Padawan)
If everything goes according to plan he will remain apprentice for a very long while. (Up till when he time-jumps again and comes back as a teen)

As far as the rules go we're only concerned with three major ranks. Padawan, Knight and, Master. You can have whatever title you want but you Force Rank is subject to approval by the Force Council (a bunch of dicks who claim to know shit and make rulings both IC and OOC). So yeah, Padawan is fine.
I'm not on the Force Council and my highest Rank character of a Force Using nature is dubbed a "Dormant Evil Doer" currently. But he's a Knight, and they all know it... bitches.
