While the remnants of Tropical Storm Delta are bringing much needed and rare rains to the north-western Saharan Desert, Tropical Storm Epsilon has formed in the Atlantic.

As quoted by a NHC meterologist:

AS TROPICAL STORM EPSILON...THE 26TH NAMED STORM OF THE
APPARENTLY NEVER ENDING 2005 ATLANTIC HURRICANE SEASON

Anyways, here is some satellite imagery of the new storm:

geez...they keep forming right up to the end of the season aren't they? Maybe even beyond the end of the season...

Glad I don't live in Florida anymore.

Just because a storm forms doesn't mean it's going to hit Florida. :glance

Actually, we pretty much tied Louisiana this year with two major hurricanes apiece. Although we also got one minimal hurricane. And at least one tropical storm. Plus the remnants of another system. Shut up. :mad

Now that was unnessacary. I know not all storms target Florida, but I worried about them when I lived there.

For the record, no storm actually hit Florida during the whole four years I was there and only one came close enough to make us evacuate.

Would it have been better if I had said 'glad I don't live on the coast' instead?

How about just, glad I don't live in the South-eastern United States? Because until recently Texas and North Carolina got hit by more storms per a year than Florida.
