chai is a thick spice tea, with actually a kind of intense flavor because of the spices...

but it's ironic you should mention tasting like hot water, because the cup of Starbucks chai tea that I had sucked. It was watered down or something, too weak. I can go into the student union and get a cheaper cup of better quality chai in the food court.
