It reminds me more of Avalanche then White Light, which is good. Avalanche was my favourite album, mixing very serious balads and some tongue in cheek sardonism Matt has made a career from. This is the second, I think. I'll need a few more listens to be definitive on it, but I like it. It's catchy and sarcastic, which is a good mix.
