The time is ticking for me to go see it. And I can't decide! I dislike and don't want to endorse Harry Potter for my own principles, but I want to see the trailer! What do you guys think? Anyone seen it yet?

Harry Potter wasn't that bad, but where I when to see it, it didn't have the trailer attached. Go see it if the trailer is attached, but make sure it is before you buy the ticket.

I heard the movie was pretty good. The graphics in itself are reasons for me to go see it.

I saw Harry Potter with my 9-year old niece, and I kinda liked it, the scene with the brooms was very Return of the Jedi (speeder bike) chase like, and the effects were great. I saw the two trailers for EPisode 2, and downloaded them both , and have them several times on a VHS tape, which I copied using a video camera.
Episode 2 will kick-ass, and be much better than Episode 1 for sure...awesome scenes.

Personally, the general theme of Harry Potter has made me a very irritable person in the midst of its hype.
Read one book of the original trilogy...despised it.

Hm, well the franchise has gone excessively over the top. In a sense, it even toughens the subtle irritancy of some.

The books are good but everything else (such as merchantise, the movies, action figures, etc) should go.
