Is there a way to get the settings so that after I post a thread/reply, it takes me back to the original forum rather than the message itself? I tried looking around in the options but couldn't find it.

I think it's just what it does, so you can check over the post and make sure it's alright - in case you don't preview for mistakes, etc.

vB doesn't come with this feature in a user-selectable form, that I'm sure of. Whether or not it comes in a global form is questionable, but considering the sheer amount of options available for every aspect of the board I'm guessing yes.
