As for your character, the best way to establish yourself is to just get started. Feel free to post a [url="http://therebelfaction.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=157"]bio[/url] of your character, or just dive right in with the [url="http://therebelfaction.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=113"]Astral Astoria[/url] or the [url="http://therebelfaction.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=6"]Battlegrounds[/url].
The Astral is more "newbie" oriented and is usually suggested as a good place to start, but it by no means the only place. Start a roleplay, or join one labelled "Open" (those unmarked are usually invite-only, but feel free to ask in our [url="http://therebelfaction.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=9"]OOC forum[/url] if you're not sure).
