Just to clarify, you've posted that you've completely abandoned the planet and all its military installations right?

Also, it might be more realistic to have your ships jump in from nearby, rather than be in system, considering we've already scanned the system a number of times with specialist scanning ships to reveal everything.

Also, if i was a cunt i'd let you move those ships under the planetary shield. As i've been lead to believe shields only extend out to a planets atmospheric limits or something. If so, your ships have been destroyed because none of the ships you have are equiped with atmospheric capability.

Perhaps someone could clarify the sheild thing for me though?

I believe planetary shields only extend to the limits of the atmosphere. At least as far as I remember they always have.

I am not clear about the shield thing myself but these are frigates, with an ability to go into an atmosphere and fighters can go into an atmosphere.

But, If I do recall correctly, in the NJO series at the Battle of Corescant (sp?) many ships were protected under planetary shields.

You need to RP if you want to see what I have done in full.

You cannot know this for sure IC.

Any military installations concerning sensitive covert ops and highlevel military are abandoned and emptied of all devices and technologies IC. Training schools have been change over to the purpose of training planetary forces and into education centers for the populace.

There is still a presence there just as strong of one.

You mention that there was nothing worth mentioning. Well there is nothing that can stop a fleet there are only a few frigates and fighters.

Figates and fighters would still have been at the military installations no matter what, on planet or patroling. There is also a star fighter academy on one of the planet's moons so there are fighters there as well.

There is a big difference between 'nothing worth worrying about' and nothing!!!

If you care to reread the last sentence, it clearly indicates there is nothing in the system that might be considered a thread. A 'few frigates' is certainly a threat.

This is a military based society. You note that there is nothing in system. Not on planet where I have berthed fighters and ships in previous threads.

That fact alone precedes you saying that there are no ships in system becuase there are always ships there no matter what, becuase they are at the military academy and star bases for the purpose of training and for the purpose of planetary defense.

I kept the planet at a high level of military readiness in all of my previous threads. Your posting disreguards those threads.

I made a reason for why the vast majority of the ships are not there.

Clarifying the continuty from my previous threads for this one.

This RP, under the new rules, is a RP of the planets held by my personal charecters if not by my personal group. Meaning that my previous posts also hold up as cannon and I still hold a certain amount of control over the planet until it falls into your hands. I am only keeping things logical.

This is a minor issue. Almania is going to fall either way no matter what number of ships are there becuase you have overwhelming force. The question that this thread answers is how it falls. If we finish the RP rather than nit-pick over the posting then we can answer the question and get the bloody thread over with.
