Back with a Vengeance
Has done it again. And while I've not quite finished reading it yet, Survivor's Quest is the best Star Wars book I've read in quite a while. Don't know when it came out, I just happened upon it one day at the book store. This story takes place approximatley three years after Luke and Mara are married, and it tests their relationships. This storyline picks up from the original Thrawn Duology when Parck sends a signal them from Nirauan. It appears Chiss scouts have found the remaings of Outbound flight, the project that was to send some fifty Jedi and 50,000 other people throught the unknown regions into another galaxy. Making appearances include several Chiss, the oldest of Baron Fel's sons, Chak Fel (who is dead by the time NJO rolls around, as is indicated by the Baron), the Imperial 501st Stormtrooper Legion, and a few other people. Great, Great book. Can't wait until I reach the end.

"And what exactly is wrong with the name Thumper?"
I remember reading about this on the Star Wars website about a year ago. Glad to see it's finally out.

Y'know, somehow I always suspected that the Geroons were the murderous Yavaagi or whatever, but couldn't quite place it.

I've started reading it, so don't blow it by revealing what happens. *shakes fist*

Expect the Unexpected, as usual with Zahn's novels.

You better consider yourself lucky I didn't come to this before I've already read far enough to know what you're talking about without it being spoiled. I would have been really ticked. I hate having books ruined with advanced knowledge of events in that happen in them if no one was supposed to know of them before hand.
