Anyone tuning in to this Farscape miniseries tonight? It's on SciFi, 8-10 PM CST. I've been looking forward to this all week. I'm only a recent discoverer of the goodness that is Farscape (having tuned in last week during the marathon), so I'm not completely up on all the episodes... I hope I can follow along.

Fuck yall, Farscape is top of the line SciFi material!

Up there with ST, SW and BSG

If you dont watch this, I swear Ill track down each one of your IP addresses, slit the throats of everyone in your house when all the lights are off. Fill the bathtubs with bleach and leave your bodies in them to disolve before being found.

I've only seen one episode and the antagonist was found to be stupid and cartoonish. However, every SciFi series has their stupid episode but I do not have Sci Fi channel and so have never worked out that theory with Farscape.

I always sort of bunched Farscape in with Lexx and Cleopatra 2025 or 20 or whatever it's called.

I enjoy Farscape because it's a mature storyline with plenty of character. The series creators are not afraid to kill off significant characters either, so although you know they won't nuke John or Aryn (can't spell it right), at times you do feel worried about the others.

Just finished the first episode of the Peacekeeper Wars. Overall, I enjoyed it. However, it has a very 'rushed' feel to it. I suppose that's something that you should expect when writers, used to expanding a storyline over dozens of hour-long episodes, are required to mash a large storyline into three hours of movie.

I'm looking forward to tomorrow. I'm also taping it, so I may be able to send VHS copies to anyone who didn't see it (assuming I get my hands on the right cables, and some spare tapes).

Im thus far disapointed in the showing.

For one, the space graphics are different, Scorp is different, and Rigel underwater... c'mon, they did better with Yoda...

Yeah, everything is just a tad different. The underwater scene was pretty lame as well. Though, with Yoda, ILM had a pretty much unlimited budget, and a lot of time.

Although I never really got into Farscape , the episodes I did see I found to be entertaining eye-candy.... ( I always used to miss it because of work, and thus never knew what the hell was going on)...

It struck me as being quite imaginative...

If a little 'Muppety'....

(but then consider ROTJ )
